Entries are now officially open for the 2026 Brisbane School Championships. Schools across the region are invited to enter teams for this two‑day doubles competition.

Event Overview
The Championships will be held across two days at 39 Quilton Place, Crestmead, bringing together school badminton players from across Brisbane and surrounding regions.
- Dates: Friday 4 September & Saturday 5 September 2026
- Entries Close: 5.00pm Wednesday 2 September 2026
The event features multiple doubles divisions across age groups, with each session expected to run for approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

Friday 4 September
- Open Girls Doubles – 5.30pm
- Open Boys Doubles – 6.00pm
Saturday 5 September
- Under 15 Girls Doubles – 1.00pm
- Under 15 Boys Doubles – 1.30pm
- Under 19 Boys Doubles – 3.45pm
- Under 19 Girls Doubles – 4.15pm
Entry Conditions
- Schools may enter up to five doubles pairs per event.
- Both players in a pair must attend the same school.
- Players may only compete in one age group, based on their age as at 31 December 2026.
- Turning 14 in 2026 → eligible for Under 15
- Turning 15 in 2026 → must enter Under 19
Open Division Eligibility
The Open Division is reserved for players with higher competitive experience:
- Players graded C or D Grade who have won or placed runner‑up in D Grade events in 2024, 2025, or 2026 may only enter the Open Division.
- Players who have represented Queensland or another state/country and are graded C or D Grade in the past three years must also enter the Open Division.
- Players graded B Grade or above are not eligible for any division.
