🏸 A Huge Thank You to Our Tournament Committee and Volunteers 🏸
As we reach the halfway point of another busy year of badminton in Queensland, we’d like to take a moment to recognise and thank our wonderful Tournament Committee and the many volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
From planning tournament calendars, managing entries, coordinating venues, liaising with clubs and officials, answering countless emails, preparing draws, and ensuring events run smoothly on the day, there is an enormous amount of work involved in delivering competitions across the state.
What many people may not realise is that this work is undertaken entirely by volunteers. These dedicated individuals generously contribute their time, skills and energy because they are passionate about badminton and want to see our sport continue to grow and thrive throughout Queensland.
Like many sporting organisations, badminton relies heavily on volunteers, and Queensland is no exception. Every tournament delivered is the result of countless hours contributed by people who are willing to give back to our badminton community.
To everyone who helps organise and deliver QBA tournaments, thank you for your dedication, professionalism and commitment. Your efforts are greatly appreciated by the Board, our affiliated clubs and associations, and the many players who enjoy participating in QBA events throughout the year.
If you see one of our volunteers at an event, please take a moment to say thank you. A simple gesture of appreciation goes a long way and helps recognise the tremendous contribution they make to our sport.
